Tapa King – Dubai
So yesterday, I posted our street food adventure at Jolly Jeep. We actually dined first at Tapa King just right next to Jolly Jeep because the hubby wanted to try it for longest time now. One thing I immediately noticed was that it’s clean and the restaurant looks brand new. Good sign!
I know that there’s Tapa King in Al Ghurair Mall in Deira but the one we visited was the branch in Ansar Gallery in Karama.
As usual, we immediately scanned the menu. I love how budget friendly it is.
Gibson ordered the boneless bangus. Crispy, good portion and just spot on!
The kids’ ordered the kiddie meal. I had a taste of both their spaghetti and burger and OMG! It taste like what Filipino spaghetti and burger should be. Pinoy na Pinoy!!! Don’t worry. They serve the spaghetti and burger separately with adult portion for grownups. You don’t need to snatch a kid to enjoy this 🙂
I ordered Chicken Molo Soup and regret not ordering more for takeaway. I’m just craving for it again as I type this.
What’s Pinoy food without sago’t gulaman?
And for dessert, we had mais con yelo and leche flan.
They didn’t scrimp on corn and milk. I love it!
And the leche flan is oh so creamy and not cloyingly sweet. Perfect!
You can connect to Tapa King UAE by visiting their Facebook page here.
I would definitely come back and enjoy the tapa dish itself. Maybe I’ll visit the Al Ghurair Mall branch next time as it’s near to my place. Have a good weekend everyone!
