We had our March date night in Toshi at Grand Millennium Hotel. I was given a voucher for an event that I organized there and why not use it for our date.
Toshi has different theme every night and since we went on a Friday, we had the 7 Asian flavours night and we got to experience dishes from China, Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand.
The restaurant is at the 18th floor of the hotel that gives you some nice view of Sheikh Zayed Road.
It has a romantic vibe because of the lights and view.
I would say that the choices is not extensive compared to other buffet we tried with similar price range. To be honest, I don’t think my kids will enjoy the place if we come with them although I don’t think this restaurant is geared towards children.
Their Japanese section and salad bar which I really enjoyed.
I stuffed my face with kimchi, crab salad, seaweed salad and lots and lots of sushi and sashimi.
They have tepanyaki section where you can choose and mix your ingredients and have it cooked by the chef.
I’m currently in-love with edamame. I think it’s a good and healthy snack.
I didn’t manage to take photos of some of the food. I didn’t try them. As I said, I just enjoyed their Japanese and salad section.
Will I come back? Maybe. The 159 value seems to be ok for the variety.
And if you use your Entertainer vouchers then it’s really a great deal.
