Dim Sum Friday – The Royal Budha

I don’t know where am I hiding but I just recently stumbled upon The Royal Budha in Holiday Inn Al Barsha. This restaurant is consistently being recognized in Dubai dining scene and how come I’ve never been here before? Oh well, better late than never! And thanks to Instagram (Follow me! Handle name: filipina_expat), I learned about their Dim Sum Friday offer for just 78 dhs. Wow! It seems like a good value to me.

So we braved the sand stormy weather this morning and went straight to The Royal Budha after our visit at St. Mary’s Church. We arrived a few minutes early so what better way to wait than to snap some photos.  (more…)

So yesterday, I posted our street food adventure at Jolly Jeep. We actually dined first at Tapa King just right next to Jolly Jeep because the hubby wanted to try it for longest time now. One thing I immediately noticed was that it’s clean and the restaurant looks brand new. Good sign! (more…)

There’s Jolly Jeep in Dubai!

Today is Filipino foodtrip kind of day for us. The whole gang braved Karama and head straight to Ansar Gallery to try two Filipino eateries which are very well known back home. We had light meals first at Tapa King and went after to Jolly Jeep to have a taste of Filipino street food we missed. I’ll post my Tapa King experience later. For now, I’ll share how we enjoyed Jolly Jeep. (more…)
