Splash ‘n’ Party!

Splash 'n' Party

When I told the kids last week that we were going to Splash ‘n’ Party, their first reaction was ‘Where’s that?’. After experiencing this water park, the place has now been a part of their vocabulary and the only question now is ‘When are we going back?’.

Splash ‘n’ Party is the newest aqua park in Dubai that caters to kids. Unlike other water parks geared towards teenagers and adults with their adrenalin-rush rides and water features, Splash ‘n’ Party is where children can truly enjoy while their parents chill out on the sides.

We went there on a Saturday morning and followed Google Map’s instruction and found the location easily. The aqua park is located in Villa 1, Al Safa 2 and with its big and colorful signage, you will definitely not miss it. The weather was cooperating too as it’s cloudy and not too humid.

We were greeted by a prince and princesses but we never dare to go inside the villa. It looks like off-limits to the public anyways.Splash 'n' Party

If you are going there for a party, there is a counter to register. There is also a cashier if you’re just a walk-in guest.Splash 'n' Party

Cole and Biel including their cousin, Lance, were jumping up and down in excitement as soon as they saw the facilities and wanted to go straight to the changing room. It’s like a torture for them when I said they need to re-apply sunscreen first.

I don’t blame them for getting very excited. The place screams fun!

And if your kids got bored playing in water (which I highly doubt!), then they can go to inflatable castle or try the trampoline.Splash 'n' Party Splash 'n' Party

Parents can also buy water toys from the pop-up shop.

Parents can join the fun if they can’t resist the temptation…

Since this place is really catered for kids, as long as your child is above 4 years old, I can say it is relatively safe. You don’t have to gawk on your children feeling scared that they’ll drown as soon as you take your eyes off them for a millisecond.

And since there are lots of lifeguards watching over the children, and your kids are within your sight, parents can lounge around drinking cold juices, cold coffees (hot if you like) and just chill.

Uma-aura! Pak!

After few hours of splashing and playing around, your kids will go hungry even if they won’t admit it. Good to know that they have good selection of food, snacks and drinks for parents and kids.Splash 'n' Party

The kids had their usual mac n’ cheese. Lance wanted spaghetti in tomato sauce and warned him that it’s not the usual Filipino-style sweet spaghetti that he’s used to but he insisted. Turned out it’s really not his type. Cole could have finished it if only he’s not too eager returning to the pool area.

Although walk-ins are accepted, it’s best to call first before coming as they sometimes close the place or shorten the visiting hours when the whole place is hired privately. Just like the day we visited when Sheikh’s family was coming in the afternoon.

Splash ‘n’ Party is also ideal for birthday parties. They have designated areas for kids’ parties and several birthday packages to choose from.

Entrance for walk-ins is AED 100 during weekdays and AED 140 for weekends and public holidays and this is for the whole day. Adults are free.
